| I ordered a refill kit from Meritline. The instructions say that there is a plug on one of the sides of the OEM cartridge. Not on this one. At least I can't find it. This is the starter cartridge that came with the printer. It's a Konica/Minolta Magicolor 2400W. There is a sliding door that exposes a 3/8 of a square inch hole on the cartridge. Is this the waste door or is it possible that this is where I should put the toner refill? |

Hello,
Typically starter cartridges are not made in the same fashion as a regular replacement cartridge. The materials used, the amount of toner and the actual design of the cartridge is substandard to the regular cartridges.
The sliding door will not access the toner hopper in order to refill the cartridge.
It is better to put a hole in the spot indicated by the instructions and use heavy duty duct tape to seal the hole.
Thank you |
