|
|
I did a google on 2600n and chip reset and i found out that we can setup the printer to print past it's 2000 and 2500 page limit. Below are the instructions i got.
Cartridge Out Override can only be enabled from the printer’s control panel menu.
1. From the main menu, press (RIGHT ARROW) to System setup and press (SELECT).
2. Press (RIGHT ARROW) to Print quality and press (SELECT).
3. Press (RIGHT ARROW) to Replace supplies and press (SELECT).
4. Press (RIGHT ARROW) to Override out and press (SELECT).
5. Press (SELECT).
If Stop at out is selected, the printer will stop printing when a cartridge reaches the recommended replacement point. If Override out is selected, the printer will continue printing when a cartridge reaches the recommended replacement point. The factory default setting is Stop at out.
Now what we need is toner to fill the cartridges so we can continue printing.
Can we use 2550n toner in 2600n cartridges? I asume it should be the same quality toner. |

The HP 2600 uses a new generation toner by HP, which is also found in the HP 4700, and HP 3000 series printers. It is called "Color Sphere" and is a chemical toner. Each of these models uses a different Color Sphere formula. This is a tricky toner, and requires a high degree of compatibility to achieve great results. Uni-Kit is working on a toner that matches the OEM quality and crispness, this is currently under development and expected release is February 2006 for the HP 2600, and March 2006 for HP 3000 and HP 4700. _________________ InkGuy

What kind of business are you guys running deleting my posts, I just want a straight answer and no more BS or we might not even do business at all in the future. |
