HP 2500L "top off" possible ???? without chip repl

Is it posible to "top off" the toner cartrige on the hp 2500L before it runs out and the chip goes bad? Will that allow multiple uses of the same chip with just topping off the toners?[/b]

Hello Tom. Unfortunately the HP 2500 does not continue to function even if you try refiling it before it runs out. You must also remember, you never want to overfill a cartridge with to much toner. This can cause the cartridge to leak toner, put to much on paper, and damage the inside of the cartridge (which ruins the cartridge).

What you may want to consider is looking thru your owners manual. Some HP models can bypass these features with a few adjustments to the settings.
