Epson Photo R280 I filled them up & it won't print!

Dear anyone out there who can help me! I just spent a bundle on new refillable ink cartridges, and lots of ink (6 colors)... I filled up three colors - and can't get those specific cartridges to print AT ALL. The test strip is blank for those 3 colors.

My cartridges have a chip that tells the printer that they are full. So that's no problem.

Is there some sort of trick that I need to do to PRIME the ink? or do I need to clean something in the printer to get the ink to flow?

Most likely, you have not opened up the breather ports. These have 2 plugs (fill hole and breather hole), breather hole needs to be open so ink can flow.
