How do you get the rubber plugs out without damaging them or the case? |

hello,
very carefully. using small needle nose pliers to sort of break the seal between edge of the plug and the edge of the cartirdge. Also a flathead screwdriver works to shimmy it up and under the lip of the plug

| I found applying some heat to the plug with a heat gun, inserting a pcs of plastic pipe in the plug cavity, and lifting plug edge with a puty knife worked. |

wow! that sounds great but unfortunatley not all of our customers own heat guns or I wouldn't recommend using it, just in case.
i'm glad it worked like a charm for you.
