I purchased the refill kits for this unit but there are no instructions in any of the kit boxes, there aren’t any plugs and I take it from the other posts I need a tool the punches holes in the toner cartridges. Where can I get the instructions, tool and plugs?
Thank you

Hello,
No tool or plug is necessary. You just need to remove the top of the cartridge in order to expose the plug.
Remove the 4 screws from the top of the cartridge. Located on each corner.
Remove one screw from the side of the cartridge. Located on the side of the cartridge next to the copper connection.
Carefully spread the sides of the cartridge cover to release the catches on both sides of the bottom. A small flat-bladed screwdriver may be used, but be careful not to break the plastic.
The cover should lift straight up and off. Be gentle and slow as there may be a small amount of glue on the front edge of the plastic.
Remove the plastic plug in the side of the cartridge with a small pair of pliers (plug is located next to the computer chip). Pull on alternate sides until the plug comes out.
Carefully poor in the new toner. Cleanup any spills or clothing with cold water.
Replace the plug, cover and screws in the reverse order. |
