Hi all

Need some advice. I got lots of compatible cartridges for my Epson CX6400 a fair while ago off Ebay (T0441-4 range, made by a company called AMMO) and unfortunately not too long ago my CX6400 printer became a cropper from the well known problem where part of the carraige that grabs the belt snapped off so the carraige stopped moving across the printer (although I had the printer for a good 8/9 years and was really happy with it before this happened). I tried to take it apart to see if I could superglue the broken piece of plastic back onto the carraige but it got so disassembled and I STILL couldnt reach the carraige bar, I just gave it up so its in its original box in pieces. Went out and bought an Epson SX425W as a replacement - again very happy with it but the inks are about to run out on it (T1281-4 range).

My question is, is there any possible way to get the ink out of my old T0441's and refill the genuine Epson 1281s the printer came with?

I dont want to just throw away all my unused still in their boxes and airtight bagged T0441-4 cartridges...

Any advice would be great. Would it be wise to invest in a refill kit? If so, how do I get the ink out of the old ones and get it into the genuines? I appreciate this sounds tight fisted but if theres a way to shift the ink, I am prepared to sit down and do it if it saves me money Ive already spent.

Alternatively, does anyone know who might buy some T0441-4 compatibles cartridges from me? I can use the money I get from selling them to buy a refill kit for my SX425W Smile

Thanks a lot

Jimbo

Unfortunately we do not have information on how to take the ink out of your cartridges and use them in other cartridges. I'm sure there would be some special tools required for this kind of project, but we don't carry any information or any site we can direct you too.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
