I have some questions about the laser toner refill kit for an Okidata c5200n printer. 1. Will this product damage my printer in any way. 2. Will the printer recoginze the refilled toner cartridge as a new one. 3. Is there any additional parts that need to be purchased to make the printer think it is a new toner cartridge. 4. When does the 30 day money back return start, from the moment I receive the product, or when it is shipped.

Hello,

The Okidata C5200 printer is refilled with the "Uni-Kit Toner Refill Kit for Okidata C5100" (which is also compatible with OKI C5150 / C5200 / C5300 / C5400). The refill kit comes with toner, tools and instructions on how to fill these cartridges. The refill procedure is relatively easy (2/10 on a scale of 10 being the most difficult), and takes about 5 minutes per cartridge. There are some cases where the cartridge will be sensed as "empty" by the sensor on the printer, and give an error message. However, there is a workaround solution for this error message - and this is explained in the refill / reset instructions provided by Uni-Kit.
The refill success rate is very high, and the quality is about 100% same as original on the 1st refill. Subsequent refills will show some decrease in print page and quality due to wear and tear, so its only recommended that you fill the same cartridge no more than 2-3 times before replacing with a new cartridge.
