Kodak's first set of printers were the: Kodak Easyshare Series 5100/5300/5500

Compatible cartridges for these worked fine.

Then Kodak released 4 new printers (All in One ESP series: ESP 3, 5, 7, and 9, which will not work with the first batch of compatible chips.

There is now a new generation chip which will make the cartridges universal with the ESP 3,5,7 and 9, as well as the Easy Share models.

The new replacement chip sold through Uni-Kit resellers is OEM-size and works on Kodak 5100/5300/5500, ESP 3/5/7/9 and the newly upgraded ESP 7/9/3250/5250.

When the chip is low, it will give an "!" alarm, when ink is out, it will give you an "X" prompt.

Ink consumption is the same as original chips

Also come with multi-serial numbers to avoid rejection by the printer due to single serial #.
