As soon as you replace refills with hp product everything works perfectly. I chatted online with hp help and they took me through an extensive clean-up of printhead and were going to send me a new printhead until they realized I was using refills. They will not honor warranty unless hp product is used. Even with a new printhead, the printer would have failed to align and not recognize ink in the refills. Why is the company even selling refill kits for this printer? _________________ D.O. This can have to do a lot on how the cartridge outputs ink. If the seal is to tight, it may let only a small amount or no ink out of the cartridge. The problem is the printer will not align the printheads because there are refills in the machine. It was designed that way so we have to buy HP ink cartridges. Rip off!! _________________ D.O.
