epson cx5000 Ink and Toner Refill Help Instructions Forum

I just bought an epson all in one cx5000 and was wondering if anyone knows how to refill the ink cartridges? I bought a "universal" refill kit and there are no instructions for my number ink cartridges. The cartridge numbers are T068120, T069220, T069320, and T069420.

these cannot be reset at this time, these are new chips from epson. uni-kit is working on compatible chips for these, due for launch soon but not yet available.

I also just bought the cx5000 and am nearing empty on the black. given the resetters aren't available yet I thought I would pre-empt this for now by filling it with my existing epson refill kit from a previous printer. However, I cannot figure out where to insert the needle, and have even sacrificed the almost empty cartridge to figure it out! Does anyone have any experience here?

Uni-Kit has released the new resetter which works on these cartridges, BUT the cartridges need to be at least 25% full before u reset them (below 25% level the chips sort of "self-destruct" and can no longer be resetted).

As for instructions on how to fill these... those are still being developed

ps - the new resetter is being marketed as Uni-Kit Resetter for Epson V3.0
(V1.0 = for other epson inkjets, and V2.0 = for epson plotters)
