I recently bought the aftermarket toner for Dell 3130.
I refilled the 60g of carrier into the developer chamber and followed by 70g of toner into the toner chamber, for all 4 colors standard cartridges. I inserted the cartridges into the printer and auto calibration for the printer took place. But when I started to print, my printout resulting in light colors and only part of the image on the printout. Even though I tried to manual calibrate it for few times, the same problem arose.
Do I need to premix all the toner and carrier before refilling?
If I do need the step of premixing, the resulting mixture need to refill into the developer chamber or toner chamber?
Urgently need the solution for this. Greatest gratitude for every reply here. |

Its always best to mix the developer in the toner bottle before inserting it into the cartridge. However, if you already refilled the cartridge, you can simply shake the cartridge really well to makes sure it mixes well.
After that, clean the cartridge of any toner leaks with a lint free cloth. This includes cleaning the drum cartridge and paper catch in the printer. |
