I recently bought a refil kit from an online ebayer that has a great reputation. Unfortunatly none of the chips are being recognized by the printer. it says, "open printer and put yellow toner" or whatever color it isn't able to read. What can I do about this? The ebayer sent me 2 new sets of chips of which none work.
I see some of these websites that say the cartridge needs to be filled before a low toner or empty toner warning pops up but that hasn't made any difference. OR they will work without a chip which is not true.
Eventually it still shows low toner or completely empty and then I cannot even use this cartridge again.
1.) How do I get around this?
AND
2.) Where can I find a good source for replacement chips that will actually work with my printer?
Thanks for your help |

Hello,
If the chip is not registering then it's a program issue with the chip. The company that sold you the chips may have received a defective batch.
We sell replacement chips and have not experienced such problems.
