|
|
I have used your toner to refill my TN-330 cartridge. Since then, everything coming out of the printer has a gray tone on the paper, sort of a wash on the paper. There is a slight pattern of lines running the length of the paper. The print itself looks good.
I've cleaned the interior of the printer with a lint free cloth and have had no change.
Is there an issue with the toner and the drum? What do you suggest to correct this. I have two other printers using the same cartridge/drum combination and have concerns this will happen with them when they need to be refilled.
The cartridges are all Brother OEM starters with flag gears added. |

Hello,
All of the original OEM toner MUST be removed before filling the cartridge with our toner.
The other thing that can cause leaking is if the cartridge has been refilled several times and there is a build up of "waste toner" that is "spitting toner back onto the paper.
Please let me know if the OEM toner was removed prior to refilling.

The old toner was removed as best I could. Due to not having the proper filters in my vaccum, I was not able to remove 100%. I would have say best guess is 97-98%.
I have no leakage I can find and this was the first refill of this cartridge.
I've refilled other toner cartridges (canon and xerox) without this type of issue before.
Also, the cartridge is not overfilled. |

I'm not sure the number, but the label reads Uni-kit Refill Kits
Toner Refill Kit for Brother TN-330/TN360
Black.
The only refills I purchase are from your company. |

| This was the first refill in an empty factory cartridge. To be exact, this was the toner cartridge that came with the printer. Never refilled, I broke the seal. |

Hello,
Has an OEM cartridge been installed to see if the print issue continues? so we can rule out the drum as a possible culprit of the problem.
