"I am printing large color photos (32 x 42 inches) on an Encad Novajet with a piggy back bulk ink system that supplies ink from 1 litre storage flasks via plastic tubes that connect to each HP51626A cartridge, a messy system that is difficult to prime. As a pioneer in bulk ink systems, can you recommend an alternative archival quality bulk ink system for the Encad Novajet III? I see on your web site that you offer HP51626A cartridge ink refill systems. But do you also supply empty refillable HP51626A cartridges. I also wonder if this cartridge refill system is viable for making very large prints, since I am not sure if one cartridge can hold sufficient ink for such large prints, and it would be a great waste of time and paper if the cartridge runs out half way through a print. What bulk ink refill system do you suggest for the Encad Novajet III?

Hello,
We do offer refill systems for the HP 26 and we also offer bulk ink. However we do not offer empty cartridges. You might want to invest into a continous flow system much like you describe. I have heard that the product made by Niagara is a good system. |

Don't judge a cartridge just by its price; the number of pages it can print is just as important. That figure will change depending on how much ink you use on a page; the industry-standard is 5% coverage per page for each color. Some companies make yield information available on the Web along with other printer specifications; others will provide it if you ask.
I have ordered ink cartridge at freephotopaper.com, and I have to say the prints were EXCELLENT. |
