Both color and black remanufactured cartridges don't print

Hello,

Please provide your order number. An air bubble has probably formed above the printhead during transport which is not allowing the ink to flow freely.

Wrap the cartridge in plenty of paper towels so that you don't get ink any where and swing or fling the cartridge towards the floor with the printhead facing towards the floor to move the air from the cartridge. Ink should be present on the paper towels after you swing the cartridge.

It may take several times before all the air has dissipated. However if it still has not cleared the problem then we will replace the cartridges (please make sure to send your order number).

Never bought a remanufactured cartridge before because I feared it wouldn't work and that's exactly what has happened. I have a Lexmark X1185 that has never given me problems. My newly purchased remanufactured Lexmark 10N0016/217 and 10N0026/227 are not printing properly. The black cartridge streaks and fades and the color cartridge only prints yellow. I've printed the alignment page three times and each time the header only prints yellow and black and line D doesn't print at all. I printed a page that would clean my ink nozzles with no change. Printed three test pages that only printed streaked, faded yellow and black. Went to Start>Printers and Faxes, selected my printer, went to File>Printing Preferences>Quality/Speed and chose "Best" and no change. Went to Start>Printers and Faxes, selected my printer, went to File>Properties>Color Management, selected "Automatic" and no change. Tried to print a file I had been printing successfully last night before I changed my old cartridge to the newly purchased remanufactured ones and the ink streaks and fades even more than the pages my old cartridge printed when it ran out of ink! Should I just return these cartridges or can you help?
