| I cannot locate any istructions on how to fill my Dell 1700 printer with the toner that I baught even though it says Dell 1700 right on the bottle |

Hello,
To refill the Dell 1700, use a flathead screwdriver, carefully remove the fill cap located under the sticker in the diagram below. Attach the pouring nozzle to the toner bottle, and pour toner into the cartridge. After refilling, replace the fill plug. |

| Just refilled original cartridge (first refill) and replaced the chip. Getting lines on the ouptut in filled areas (parallel to the direction the paper moves). What can be done to remove these lines? What causes them? |

When I refilled my laser printer the instructions have written on the catalog. So i did it myself. Also, sometimes manufacturers thoughtfully put a toner refill plug right there on the outside of the cartridge. Just unplug and pour the toner in. Its easy to refill. Anybody can do it.
