I have a Workcentre XD120f. I bought uni-kit # 5 toner and developer. The cartrige I have, I believe I bought from Office Depot. When you remove the end with the green latch there are two holes in the end. The larger one is for toner and the smaller for developer.
I used your refill kit to recharge the cartrige. I used the toner and developer. Now it prints really light, almost like a watermark.
What gives? Help. |

possibly due to developer not being well mixed, or to worn out parts (you mentioned it was possibly an office depot brand which means it has gone through at least 1 remanufacturing cycle, which will wear parts out). it is possible that the components that place toner onto the drum for printing are less efficient at picking up enough toner to make a dark enough print, but its also possible the developer is not well mixed _________________ InkGuy

| The problem was that I put too much developer in the cartrage when I refilled it. Remember, less is better when it comes to developer. I was told that you just pour the developer refill into the cartrage, but too much developer will give the same results not enough. Thanks for the speedy reply. |
