| Dell 5100cn. Am using Uni-Kit toner refill for first time. Struggled to remove colored end piece (yellow), only to find soft plastic plug underneath (which is not mentioned in instructions). It seems obvious this plug needs to come out in order to dump in new toner, but it's really tight and I don't want to damage anything. Am I doing this right? It seems more challenging than I thought it would be. I'd appreciate any tips on removing the soft plug, as well as the colored end piece. Thanks. |

I ran into the same problem, I tried many differet things to remove the cap, but in the end destroed it. Thankfully I have extra cartridges to work from. However you can cut off the top of the cap then, replace the cut part with the given orange cap. The forum will not allow me to upload a *.pdf file or provide a link, so follow the one below, just replace the three *'s with three .'s
